FARINATO began its activity as a shipowner many, many years ago with chartered and its property vessels with cargo capacity from 2.000 to 7.000 tons. FARINATO has gained specific experience in the maritime transports of marine and rock salt in bulk in the Mediterranean sea.

FARINATO has transported over 6 millions tons of salt for account of the Italian State Monopoly of Rome and other primary Europe companies.
